Sezer Arıcı thrives on romance, it is easy to say. From this vantage point, Way To Black is kneaded with sadness and melancholy. It is immediately clear that the figures are always staring off into the distance. Although the artist’s emotional world is important, plots are created in canvas or paper drawings. Vase-flower, eye-hand, gaze… Contact is also indicated by sad drawings. The touch of another person’s or a figure’s own body can be interpreted as the subject of this series.
