Mark Zuckerberg has decided to change not only the name, but also the logo of Facebook. Now the company of the creator of the most famous social network in the world is called Meta and its icon has caused some strangeness among users of this social network. That is why we will explain more or less what is this symbol that will be increasingly seen in the apps we use every day.
As you may have noticed, the Facebook icon used to be a hand that reflected the "like" or "like". This represented the positivity of the company. However, now the Meta logo is an "M" which, as you might suspect, is the initial of Zuckerberg's new brand.
However, several theories claim that the logo has not been defined by taste, as there are details that could be quite hidden and that we have not noticed with the naked eye.
WHAT DOES THE "M" LOGO OF META, EX FACEBOOK, MEAN?
As he explained in a conference, Mark Zuckerberg mentioned that the word Meta is a consequence of the "Meta-verse", the unification of all the most important social networks in the world and that they will be able to integrate immediately, without the need to open any other program. But its logo is explained in this way:
a) Mark Zuckerberg's initial: The logo of the new Meta product has as its main figure the "M", which also represents the initial of Mark's name, in order to reflect that he is the founder of a new brand of social networks.
b) Infinity: Another interpretation has to do with infinity. As we can see, the letter "M" is the classic icon of something cyclical that never ends and, therefore, social networks, since their creation, seek to unite people and change in various ways over time, without ending.
c) DNA: One of the things that Mark Zuckerberg explained about Facebook's change to Meta is because in the DNA of its employees "we are a company that creates technology to connect people". The graphic also has some of the genetic code of life.
